Gabi Wilson is a Grammy-winning pop singer and songwriter. She is popularly known as the voice behind the mysterious artist H.E.R. She is the daughter of a former member of the Urban Bushmen Band, Kenny Wilson.

Prior to releasing songs as H.E.R., Wilson at the age of 12 participated in Radio Disney's singing contest Next Big Thing in 2009. Currently signed in a record deal with RCA Records, she cracked a deal with RCA at the age of 14 and released a single, "Something To Prove", under her real name in 2014.

In 2016 Wilson revitalized her personality as H.E.R. and released the debut EP H.E.R. Volume 1. From there she again released H.E.R. Volume 2 (2017), I Used to Know Her: The Prelude, 2018 and I Used to Know Her: Part 2 (2018). She then published the following EPs. Gabi's album H.E.R. consisted of tracks from the first two EPs added with another artist's features.

After compilation and addition of six more songs, the album was dropped in October of 2017. H.E.R. was nominated for 5 different categories in Grammy Awards and was able to win Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019.
